This is where I live. Taking scenic photographs is where I find the most pleasure. Don’t get wrong, it is not that I do not enjoy and bring all of my creative effort to a commercial projects but this is where my love lies. I think I was like many who back in the 60s & 70s thought we were going to be the next Ansel Adams or W. Eugene Smith. Some how that just didn’t happen. Today I do enjoy creating my photos essays of my treks. You can see those at treks.vanrossen.com. But here are some of my favorite photos. The Goats Rocks Wilderness if filled with wonderful views. As you climb Old Snowy the view looking north to Mt. Rainier is on of the best.
