Snowshoe to Barlow Butte 5/6/2012

End of season snowshoe off trail to Barlow Butte

I thought this would be an easy snowshoe from Barlow Snow Park to Barlow Butte. I started on the Minerial Jane trail then took off cross country to the top. In trying to go up the North side I found was ringed by cliffs and had work my way around to the southwest side to find a rock area I could make my way up.
