Hike up to view point above Heather Canyon

Andrea and I did a hike leaving from Elk Meadow Trail head to a view point above Heather Canyon on Mt. Hood. We went up the Newton Creek Trail to Timberline Trail to Heather Canyon. There was to much snow to do the canyon to we had to run the ridge.
