Snowshoe Upper Twin Lake Loop on Mt . Hood

Snowshoe to Upper Twin Lake 12/23/2012

I got out for a snowshoe today in Mt. Hood Forest. I started at Frog Lake Snow Park and followed the trail up to Upper Twin Lake. From there I continued north to connect with the PCT. I wanted to check to see of anyone had made a trail to Promiter Point so I proceeded north to the junction with Ghost Ridge. As there was no trail to Promiter Point I turn around and followed the PCT back to the parking lot. The trails were well packed but if I stepped off the trail I sunk into snow above you knee. Overall condition were very good and weather was pretty good for snowshoeing.
