Clackamette Loop Walk

Weather called for rain so Lori, Jeanette and I decide to stay closer to home and do the Clackamette Loop. This route combines walk ways through several different parks and a little bit of road walking. We did about 4 miles and managed not to get to wet. Afterwards we drove a shot way to Rivershore Bar & Grill for lunch.

Noble Woods & Rood Bridge Parks Walk

The approaching rain held off long enough for Lori, Jeanette, Slyvia and I get a walk in at Noble Woods Park and Rood Bridge Park. I was surprise how much the flood waters had drop from a week or so earlier. After the walk we went to Backwoods Brewing again.

Salmon-Morgan Creeks Natural Area & Gordy Jolma Family Natural Area Scouting

Nice weather gave me a chance to Scout two adjoining natural areas of the Salmon-Morgan Creeks Natural Area and the Gordy Jolma Family Natural Area. The background on these two area are quit different with one being a former golf course and the other area used for timber or left untouched. With doing a lot of looking around my walk was 6 1/2 miles and over four hours.

In this area I spotted a red tail hawk and two bald eagles. The redevelopment plan for for the natural is schedule to be completed in 2026.
