Noble Woods and Rood Bridge Parks Walk

A scouting walk in Noble Woods Park and Rood Bridge Park. This was part of tracking the route of the Rock Creek Trail. Most of the trail in Rood Bridge Park was under flood waters. Both parks had their charms. I did about 1.4 miles in Noble Woods Park and 1.7 miles in Rood Bridge Park.

Tualatin Hills Nature Park Walk

With slowly clearing sky I set out with Lori and Jeanette to do a walk around Tualatin Hills Nature Park but first we stopped in at the new REI store that was on our way. This is the largest REI store and was well stocked. We did a bit of a walk about at the nature park and then went to Loyal Legion for lunch.

Commonwealth Lake Park Walk

This was a social Sunday. Lori and I first went to visit one of our former elderly ramble leaders who was in the hospital and then on to do a social stroll with Jeanette who was just back from her three week trip to South America. It was a cold day but the rain and snow stay away. We finished up with brunch at the Murrayhill Taphouse.

Graham Oaks and Arrowhead Creek Park Walk

It was forecast to be a wet day so we decided to stay closer to home and do a rainy day walk of Arrowhead Creek Park and Graham Oaks Nature Park. This time out was with Merlyn and Lori. Lori had not been to Arrowhead Creek Park so we head to it first. Form there we headed back Graham Oaks and and did short out and back there. Part way through our walk there the rain got worst so we decided to call it a day and head for lunch. Lunch was once again at the Backstop Ban & Grill in Canby.
