Treks and Adventures
An urban hike of the Jackson Bottom Wetland Preserve with Lori, Jennette and Sylvia. We did about 4 miles. This time the Nature Center was open so we had a chance to visit it. Afterwards we went to the Murryhill Taproom for lunch.
I got out for an exploratory walk of the Jackson Bottom Wetland Preserve in Hillsboro. I started out in a cool morning but by ten it was already approaching 90 degrees in the sun. This area can be flooded in the winter but opens up for walking in the summer. I cover 5.5 miles of trails.
