Treks and Adventures
The weather once again was uncertain so we decided to stay close to home. I was out again with lori and Jeanette. We started with the Orenco Nature Park and Rock Creek Trail walk. About 4 miles. Then had lunch at Rock Creek Tavern. Then .8 mile walk around Commonwealth Lake. We were lucky and rain held off until we were done with our hike.
An exploratory walk starting at Orenco Woods Nature Park and walking Rock Creek Trail up to Rock Creek Park then returning. About 7 miles in 3 hrs. Utility work blocked off part of the park that had interesting items to see.
An exploratory walk of Rock Creek Trail Starting at Bethany Lake and first going to the west to Powerline Park and then East to Waterhouse Waterhouse Trail. The trail goes through several parks and the Rock Creek Greenway. It was built through a powerline corridor and rainwater runoff creek.
