I attempted to hike to Nesmith Point but with bad trail condition did not make it. It was a really good conditioning hike but a rough trail to hike these days. Lot of loose rocks and over grown trail. Hike was 10 miles and 3000 ft. elevation gain.
This time out I was with Jeanette and Sylvia. We did a short hike (5 miles, 900 ft. gain) to Little Beacon Rock and Hardy Falls at Beacon Rock State Park. Afterward we went to Puffin Café, a place truly on the water.
