Treks and Adventures
I did a hike with Lori, Jeanette and Sylvia on a sunny day to the Saddle on Hamilton Mt. We started at the Beacon Rock Equestrian Camp and took the Equestrian Trail up to and back from the Saddle. We did about 7.7 miles with 1500 gain in 41/2 hours. Afterward we went to Backwood Brewery for a late lunch.
I attempted to hike to Nesmith Point but with bad trail condition did not make it. It was a really good conditioning hike but a rough trail to hike these days. Lot of loose rocks and over grown trail. Hike was 10 miles and 3000 ft. elevation gain.
A solo hike to the summit of Hamilton Mt. in Beacon Rock State Park. Also added some other back of park exploring on. Did about 11.5 mile, 3000 ft. total elevation gain with about 6 1/4 hours on the trail.
A hike of Hamilton Mt. with the Cascade Prime Timers. About 8 1/4 miles, 2300 total Elevation Gain, about 5 1/4 hours on the trail and lots of fun.
